Aphrodite – the Goddess of Love – was born from the sea, so it just makes good sense to use Epsom salts in a body scrub. They contain sea salt, which comes from evaporated seawater, and are chock full of minerals that are good for the skin. They also contain minerals that help to improve your skin while the magnesium in them can reduce inflammation.

  • How to use our Douceur exquise salt scrub:

    • Choose the Right Time: Use the body salt scrub during your shower or bath when your skin is clean and warm. This will help open your pores for better exfoliation.

    • Wet Your Skin: Begin by thoroughly wetting your body with warm water. This softens your skin and prepares it for exfoliation.

    • Scoop a Generous Amount: Take a handful of the body salt scrub (about a palm-sized amount) and place it in your hands.

    • Apply to Skin:

      • Start applying the scrub to your body, beginning with your arms, legs, and torso.
      • Gently massage the scrub into your skin using circular motions. Focus on rough areas such as elbows, knees, and feet.
    • Exfoliate Gently: Avoid scrubbing too hard; let the salt scrub do its job. Spend about 5-10 minutes exfoliating your entire body.

    • Rinse Thoroughly: After scrubbing, rinse your body thoroughly with warm water to remove all salt particles and residue. Make sure no scrub is left behind.

    • Pat Dry: Gently pat your skin dry with a towel. Avoid rubbing, as this can irritate your skin.

    • Moisturize: Follow up with our moiturizing  lotion to replenish moisture and keep your skin soft and smooth.

    • Frequency of Use: For optimal results, use the body salt scrub 1-2 times a week. This helps keep your skin smooth and free from dead skin cells.

    • Store Properly: Keep the body salt scrub in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is tightly closed to maintain its freshness.
